Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at NETSCOUT. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting our Sales team in reaching revenue goals by providing exceptional pre-sales technical support and presentations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations for existing and potential customers, as well as partners, to showcase NETSCOUT's product features and value propositions.
- Provide sales and technical enablement of partners within assigned regions, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively promote NETSCOUT's products.
- Detail and present NETSCOUT's product features, operation, and support services to customers and partners, highlighting the resulting value propositions.
- Respond to RFP/RFI/RFQs in coordination with sales account managers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Install and manage customer technical evaluations of NETSCOUT's products, providing detailed and timely feedback to product management.
- Lead technical discussions at partner workshops, tradeshows, and joint selling opportunities, showcasing NETSCOUT's expertise and solutions.
- Architect and recommend specific deployment solutions of NETSCOUT's products for customers, ensuring optimal technical solutions.
- Perform and manage product implementations at customer locations in close coordination with NETSCOUT operations and deployment teams.
- Provide technical product training for customers and partners, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use NETSCOUT's products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues discovered during the trial or implementation process, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Schedule and conduct introductions of customer NETSCOUT and/or Arbor support teams after completing implementations, ensuring seamless support.
- Speak on technical or business-related subjects at industry or customer events on behalf of NETSCOUT, showcasing expertise and thought leadership.
- Manage the technical relationship with all customers and prospects of the account manager during the sales process, maintaining relationships with technical contacts and keeping account information up to date in NETSCOUT's CRM system.
- Attend social events with customers, such as NETSCOUT-hosted events, and entertain customers as required, with or without the account manager.
- Research recent market trends and present how NETSCOUT's solutions can help customers address these new areas.
- Develop own relationships in key accounts and contribute to overall account relationships, ensuring strong partnerships.
- Adhere to company policies and ethical guidelines, upholding NETSCOUT's values and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 10 years' experience in IT and/or 7 years in a technical pre-sales role, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience working with enterprise customers to understand their technical challenges and requirements, and effectively proposing desired solutions.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise security, network, datacenter, and cloud architectures from an architecture standpoint.
- Solid knowledge of the cybersecurity ecosystem, specifically in the Network Detection and Response space, is desirable.
- Strong Networking and Application background, along with a working knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Experience responding to or creating RFI or RFPs is essential.
- Demonstrable experience working with large, complex enterprise accounts.
- Team player with exceptional presentation and communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Exceptional organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills, with a self-motivated and results-driven approach.
- Leadership skills in contributing to the sales strategy from a solution requirements standpoint.
