We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the management of commercial activities throughout the design stage, including the compilation of tender bids and the negotiation of contracts with clients and sub-contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all commercial activities throughout the design stage, including the compilation of tender bids and the negotiation of contracts with clients and sub-contractors.
- Work closely with our design, pre-construction, and estimating teams to ensure commercial coverage.
- Negotiate and review contracts with clients, with support from senior management.
- Negotiate and place sub-contract agreements with specialist sub-contractors.
- Prepare and submit monthly interim valuations to clients in line with contracts.
- Manage, value, and agree variations to contracts.
- Carry out valuations, preparation, and submission of compliant payment notices to sub-contractors in accordance with sub-contract agreements.
- Manage and agree variations with sub-contractors.
- Agree final accounts upstream and downstream.
- Produce and present financial reports for projects in line with company timetables.
- Review and understand project programmes, ensuring correct contractual notices are issued as required by contracts.
- Commercial acumen and ability to manage numerous activities across multiple projects simultaneously.
