Lead Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Field Engineer to join our team at Ground Control. As a key member of our electrical provision team, you will be responsible for delivering tree cutting power outages and leading a small team of subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tree cutting power outages efficiently and effectively
  • Lead and manage the electrical provision team to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of programmes of work
  • Support the delivery of the overall tree cutting power outage programme
  • Assist in the management of budgets relating to the electrical provision
  • Hold a Senior Authorised Person qualification with Field Control as defined by the UK Power Networks Distribution Safety Rules
Requirements:
  • Hold a HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Have a broad understanding of UK Power Networks electrical shutdown provision processes, rules and regulations
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
