About This Role

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patient Safety Leader to join our dedicated team. This role will be instrumental in shaping and driving the Trust's commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, compliance, and risk management.

Reporting directly to the Chief Nurse, you will provide expert guidance and leadership across all aspects of patient safety. Your responsibilities will encompass developing, implementing, and continuously refining strategies to enhance patient well-being and ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for all patient safety initiatives within the Trust.
  • Represent the Trust at local, regional, and national forums, advocating for best practices in patient safety and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe healthcare environment.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in patient safety, incorporating new knowledge into existing protocols and procedures.

About You

We are seeking an exceptional individual with a proven track record in healthcare governance, quality improvement, and risk management. You will possess:
