About the Role
The University of Cambridge, Development and Alumni Relations Office is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director, London. This is a key appointment that will play a critical role in building and strengthening our networks of alumni and supporters in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to engage high-net-worth individuals and senior academic and administrative staff across the University of Cambridge.
- Work closely with academics and development colleagues to pursue donor-led major gift fundraising opportunities.
- Travel frequently to the London area and occasionally within the UK to build relationships and secure philanthropic support.
- Collaborate with the International and Regional Team to achieve fundraising goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in major gift fundraising and relationship-building.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of the University of Cambridge's mission and values.
