About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Risk Specialist to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Advisory team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality internal audit and risk management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and deliver internal audit and risk management services
  • Assist in delivering complex projects and work closely with senior team members
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and systems
  • Provide expert advice on compliance and regulatory issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive business development and marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, MIIA or CCAB or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management and systems and controls testing
  • Awareness of compliance, legislative and market issues relevant to client businesses
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Previous experience in social housing or retail sectors
  • Experience with listed entities
  • Previous experience in a manager role within practice
