Job Title: Weekend Care Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Weekend Care Professional. As a member of our dedicated team at Home Instead Lewes District and Uckfield, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with our clients, offering companionship and care during weekend visits.
  • Create a warm and welcoming home environment by assisting with light household duties and meal preparations.
  • Help clients enjoy their weekends, engaging in enjoyable activities like reading or watching TV together.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and their families, providing exceptional care and peace of mind.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary; comprehensive in-house training will be provided.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Must have reliable transport for home visits, outings, grocery shopping, and errands.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.
  • Innate caring and friendly nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
