Job Opportunity: Weekend Care Professional

Home Instead Lewes District and Uckfield is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Care Professional to join our team. As a Weekend Care Professional, you will provide essential support and care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish meaningful relationships with clients, offering companionship and care during weekend visits.
  • Assist with light household duties and meal preparations to create a welcoming home environment.
  • Engage clients in enjoyable activities, such as reading or watching TV together, to enhance their weekend experience.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary; comprehensive in-house training will be provided.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Reliable transportation for home visits, outings, grocery shopping, and errands.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.
  • Innate caring and friendly nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
