We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Manager to join our Estates team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 11 Gardeners & Cleaners across 12 housing schemes in the South London area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and schedule the delivery of cleaning, gardening, and grounds maintenance services
  • Ensure all activities are delivered in line with agreed budgets, compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and PPE legislation
  • Liaise with customers on site to identify service improvements and report repairs, removal of fly tipping, and graffiti
  • Ensure the supply and use of allocated equipment, fleet, materials, and consumables are in line with policy, procedure, and legislation
Requirements
  • Strong track record of leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Experience of managing remote working teams and staff members, including performance management skills
  • Track record of working to agreed standards, specifications, and timescales
  • Experience of delivering high-quality Estate Services, including grounds maintenance, gardening, and communal block cleaning
  • Direct experience of working with customers and customer feedback in a service delivery environment
  • Understanding and knowledge of compliance processes and relevant Health and Safety legislation
  • Experience of budget management, cost control, and stock management
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A good level of IT knowledge, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Hold a current full UK driving license and can drive manual gear vehicles
