Job Title: Family Solicitor - Newly Qualified

About the Role:

Gemini Recruitment is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a dedicated and experienced Family Law Solicitor for a highly sought permanent position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Family Law Solicitor to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members, managing and supervising Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers, and assisting with the delivery of training and development in the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers to ensure effective case management and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members on Family Law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, and remedies.
  • Assist with the delivery of training and development in the department, including training on Family Law procedures and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent client care and service.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Family Law legislation and procedures to ensure the team is equipped to provide the best possible service to clients.

Requirements:

  • NQ - 3 years PQE as a Solicitor.
  • Support Law Society and Family Panel membership.
  • Be committed and highly driven to provide an excellent standard of service to clients.
  • Have a clean, valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applying.
  • Strong management skills and ability to work with a team.
  • Excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable client matters in a sensitive manner.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills with the ability to successfully market the company and generate new business.
  • Working knowledge of the publically funded Family Law work and ability to service privately funded cases.
  • Experience in dealing with all Family Law work-related work and some expertise on adoption matters.
  • Experience in own advocacy is an advantage.
  • Excellent IT skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
