Job Description:

Assistant Store Manager - Home & Fashion Store

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Home & Fashion Store team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store and taking full responsibility in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store
  • Take full responsibility in the Store Manager's absence
  • Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey
  • Contribute towards the success of the store by ensuring the highest standard of customer service, achieving targets, maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising, and maximising sales through physical and digital channels
  • Support with the recruitment and development of volunteers
  • Achieve expectations within campaign activities
  • Work with the manager to generate stock

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Supervisory experience
  • Commercially driven to encourage new ideas
  • Inclusive approach to developing teams
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards
  • Results-driven but with a recognition of the right result, right way
