Job Overview
Priory Hospital East Midlands specializes in providing acute and psychiatric intensive care services tailored to individuals in need. Our commitment lies in delivering innovative, high-quality care that fosters patient recovery and reintegration into the community.
Our facilities offer comprehensive assessment and treatment for females experiencing a wide array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and personality disorders. The hospital is equipped with multiple wards, including:
- Sapphire Ward – a dedicated female psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU)
- Quartz Ward - an acute care unit for females
Additionally, we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new Opal Ward, which will feature 9 acute beds, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting both the team and patients during this transition.
The position of Deputy Ward Manager / Senior Nursing Leader entails providing essential nursing leadership to the ward team, working closely with the Ward Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise and leadership skills that instill confidence and guidance within the nursing team and the ward as a whole. Responsibilities will include defined delegated tasks from the Ward Manager, ensuring dedicated time for management support, and overseeing a designated group of staff.
