We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Bridgewater Manor Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver person-centred care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Support residents with their daily living needs, including personal care, medication, and meal times.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues, maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents' autonomy.
- Experience in a care environment, preferably as a Care Assistant.
- Care Certificate or equivalent, with a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
- Good knowledge of care practices, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
- Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
- Competitive hourly rate of £11.50.
