Claims Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Claims Administrator to join our team at Egis in the UK. As a Claims Administrator, you will be responsible for managing claims and disputes related to our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with internal teams, including Commercial, Administration, Operational, and Delivery teams, to ensure all aspects of claims are thoroughly satisfied.
- Manage and report on the financial performance and progress of all 3rd party claims.
- Understand and manage risks associated with recovery of Claims, including awareness of 3rd party insurer and loss adjuster communication.
- Be competent in the use of appropriate claims handling IT systems to enable efficient handling of claims.
- Lead engagement on claims matters with insurers and other external stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage numerous open claims at any one time.
- Articulate and comfortable communicating internally with colleagues required to feed into the claims process, as well as external claims management legal professionals.
- Relevant experience of technical administration within a specialist area of expertise, good negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills, and proven supplier management experience.
- Education to degree level or similar level of commercial and administrative competency.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to change.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Office-based position with regular site visits along the highway.
