Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Proactively chasing overdue debt and ensuring timely payments
  • Cash allocation and management to optimize financial performance
  • Ensuring credit limits and payment terms are accurate and up-to-date
  • Building strong relationships with key customers and resolving payment discrepancies
  • Month-end queries and regular review of credit limits to ensure financial stability
  • Escalating issues to the legal team as necessary
  • Resolving customer queries and payment discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Credit applications for new accounts and AR reporting to inform business decisions
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks as required to support the team

Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial services company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Good organizational and time-keeping skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and ability to take ownership of their role
  • Good systems knowledge and MS Excel skills to analyze and report financial data
