Job Summary:

Puro Accountancy is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join their team in East London. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end client payrolls, onboarding new clients, and managing various statutory payments and payroll changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process client payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC guidelines.
  • Onboard new clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Manage statutory payments, including RTIs, EPS, and FPS submissions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest HMRC and Pension Regulator guidelines, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on complex payroll queries.
  • Monitor and manage client auto-enrolment duties, ensuring timely compliance.
  • Set up pension schemes for employers as needed, and enroll employees in pension schemes.
  • Prepare and submit CIS returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a UK accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
  • Confident in using payroll software, including Payroll Manager and Moneysoft.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
