Finance Manager Job Description

Reed Finance is partnering with a successful group business to find a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to drive financial performance and growth for two key businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a small team of accounts assistants to ensure high-standard delivery of day-to-day activities.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly accounts up to trial balance level for two companies.
  • Produce monthly management accounts with meaningful analysis to drive corrective actions.
  • Manage the delivery of annual statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
  • Lead the group external statutory audit for two business units.
  • Manage contract, WIP, and debtor reviews for robust financial performance and accurate revenue recognition.
  • Perform monthly payroll reviews and manage fixed asset audits and inventory counts.
  • Proficiency in delivering both financial and management accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and techniques.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Familiarity with Sage or similar General Ledger systems.
