Job Title:

Contract Senior Engineer (MacOS, Networking, Data Centre)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Senior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our MacOS and networking infrastructure in our data centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize connectivity between on-premise systems and cloud services (ideally AWS)
  • Coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical servers and network hardware in a data centre setting
  • Operate racks in a data centre, including installing hardware, setting up connectivity, and troubleshooting issues
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of our data centre
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new infrastructure solutions
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of experience in MacOS systems administration, network management, and hardware maintenance
  • Deep understanding of how to operate racks in a data centre, including installing hardware, setting up connectivity, and troubleshooting issues
  • Strong understanding of on-prem to cloud networking, including VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with MDM solutions such as Jamf, Workspace ONE, or similar is a plus
