Principal Infrastructure Engineer - Coventry

The Company:

Lorien is partnering with one of the UK's largest building societies to drive transformation. We're seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the team through this exciting period.

The Role:

This role will span Engineering, Architecture, Consultancy, and Leadership. As a hands-on expert, you'll guide complex delivery while liaising with the architecture department to ensure designs are fit for purpose. As a consultant, you'll provide expert insight and best practice advice across projects. We're looking for someone with a breadth of knowledge across key Microsoft Technology stack components, with experience operating at scale in regulated environments.

The Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lead/Principal Infrastructure Engineer, advising on complex project upgrades and fault remediation
  • Expert configuration and architecture experience of Microsoft Windows Server technologies
  • Expert understanding of Active Directory architecture (EntraID and on-premise)
  • Good knowledge of Azure IaaS services and some understanding of AWS is also helpful
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities
