Key Duties:
- Lead Transformation Initiatives: Oversee and support long-term strategies aimed at enhancing process efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Partner in the formulation and implementation of strategic roadmaps for process enhancement.
- Process Evaluation: Perform comprehensive assessments of existing and new manufacturing workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement.
- Workflow Optimization: Develop and execute improvements in processes and workflows to increase efficiency and decrease waste while ensuring product quality is maintained or improved.
- Ongoing Improvement: Apply lean principles and data-driven methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Training and Development: Assist in the design and delivery of Lean training sessions; guide and facilitate problem-solving workshops.
- Visual Management Implementation: Establish visual management systems across production lines and related functions in alignment with the management framework.
- New Product Launch Support: Aid in the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring adherence to best practices in manufacturing.
- Collaboration with Engineering: Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and enhance operational efficiency. Support the design of equipment to meet production capacity requirements.
- Travel Expectations: Occasional travel between manufacturing sites may be necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Skills:
- Proficient in DMAIC and Lean methodology problem-solving tools.
- Demonstrated success in implementing improvement initiatives in a high-volume, automated, and regulated manufacturing environment, ideally within the medical device sector.
- Familiarity with change control and regulatory standards in a medical device context.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-driven with a capacity for constructive feedback.
- Effective training and mentoring capabilities.
- Proficient in IT applications.
- Strong understanding of Environmental Health & Safety protocols.
