Deputy Sister (Maternity Cover)

Delivering Compassionate Excellence

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Sister on a maternity cover basis. As a key member of our Urology Triage unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operational running of the unit.

Main Duties

As a Deputy Sister, you will:

  • Act as a role model for junior team members and support the development and delivery of high-standard specialist nursing care.
  • Work closely with the ward sister and other members of the unit's management team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Deputize for the ward sister in her absence, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Cover urology triage at night, developing your decision-making skills and autonomous practice.
