Role Overview:

In the capacity of a Customs Agent, you will oversee the customs clearance process, ensuring that all import and export activities adhere to pertinent regulations.

This position demands a proactive individual with a profound understanding of customs protocols, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Customs Declarations:
Precisely prepare and submit import and export declarations, guaranteeing compliance with UK and Irish customs regulations.

Client Liaison:

Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing expert guidance on customs issues and addressing any challenges that may arise.


Compliance Management:
Remain informed about updates in customs legislation and regulations, especially in the context of post-Brexit changes, to ensure continuous compliance.

Issue Resolution:
Address any customs-related obstacles, such as detentions or documentation inconsistencies, swiftly and effectively.

Documentation:
Ensure all customs paperwork is accurately completed, filed, and maintained in accordance with legal and client requirements.

Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with customs authorities, internal teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless customs operations.

About You:

Experience:
Demonstrated experience in customs clearance, with a solid grasp of UK and Irish customs regulations.

Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to perform under pressure.
