About the Role:

As our first Brand Designer at Lightyear, you will be responsible for spearheading Brand Design, translating the company's mission and vision into tangible visual elements. This includes defining our brand expression, owning our visual direction, leading design execution of all marketing campaigns, and being the owner of all brand assets and marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute design for all brand, advertising, and marketing-related initiatives
  • Define and create visually engaging work for all marketing campaigns
  • Develop and maintain our brand expression, including visual identity and tone of voice
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with business objectives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a brand designer or design leader in a high-growth startup or agency
  • Proven track record of creating visually engaging work that drives business results
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and composition
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
