Site Manager

Are you a seasoned professional looking to take on a challenging role in the water and wastewater industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team at Carrington West.
About the Role:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of remediation and groundworks projects, ensuring health & safety, quality, and commercial goals are met. You will work closely with the Project Lead to manage site operations, oversee subcontractors, and keep projects on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of site health & safety, ensuring safe working practices
- Manage subcontractors and the site team
- Organize labour and materials to meet project deadlines
- Lead progress meetings and daily site briefings
- Maintain high-quality standards, overseeing subcontractor work
- Deliver toolbox talks and arrange inductions
- Liaise with clients and partners regularly to keep everyone updated
- Manage the schedule of works and ensure the project stays on track
- Provide technical assistance and act as site AP (Appointed Person)
- Compile and oversee installation, repair, and maintenance programmes
Qualifications:
- Mechanical & electrical engineering background
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
