Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead programmes of digital skills initiatives to grow in-house capabilities.
  • Coach teams to be high-performing and advocate for agile/lean practices inside and outside the BBC.
  • Design, run, and facilitate workshops and digital masterclasses for teams, departments, and senior stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps and apply appropriate training for teams and individuals in agile software development practices and agile ways of working.
  • Manage stakeholders' expectations and facilitate discussions in situations characterised by high risk, complexity, and constrained timescales.
Requirements:
  • Expert agile practitioner and coach with significant demonstrable experience of a range of agile and lean tools and techniques.
  • Innovative and keeps up-to-date with the latest agile delivery and product development trends.
  • Experience implementing changes, maturing agile practices, and instilling continuous improvement capabilities across teams, departments, and within an organisation.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the different ways to approach agile coaching in large organisations.
  • Skilled facilitator, able to facilitate in all scenarios from discussions about difficult team dynamics to facilitating workshops or sessions appropriate for each stage of the product development lifecycle.
