Job Responsibilities
- Designing mechanical engineering systems at the highest level using the latest software design packages.
- Leading mechanical services design on large projects and taking overall lead on small to medium-sized projects within the office.
- Developing initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.
- Engaging with junior support staff in their day-to-day activities and offering advice and guidance to ensure they develop their skills.
- Monitoring fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered, and identifying new ways of working to stay ahead of competitors.
- Creating and maintaining a high reputation within the local industry and ensuring adherence to quality management and risk control procedures.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with excellent communication skills and a team-based work approach.
