Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AMBA Architect to join our Architecture and Technology Group at Arm Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the future of Arm technology and architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the definition of next-generation system technologies, focusing on interface specifications that are used by processors and system architecture components.
  • Collaborate with experts to develop and evaluate new technologies, deploying them internally within Arm and to the broader Arm ecosystem.
  • Influence Arm product roadmaps and the wider Arm ecosystem through your contributions.
  • Participate in industry-wide collaborative developments, working with experts from numerous companies.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge and skills in computer architecture, including CPU architecture, memory systems, caches, and coherency protocols.
  • Experience with AMBA interface specifications, including AHB, AXI, ACE, or CHI.
  • Understanding of off-chip interfaces specifications, such as PCIe, CCIX, or CXL.
  • Knowledge of memory technology, including DDR, LPDDR, HBM, or NVM.
  • Understanding of system architectures used in various application areas, such as mobile phones, automotive applications, servers, or IoT devices.
  • Performance analysis and optimization skills, especially in real-time systems.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate and make high-level design trade-offs and articulate the rationale for those choices.
  • Can-do attitude, flexibility, and willingness to accept new challenges.
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related subject area.
  • Familiarity with Arm CPU and system architectures, machine learning and DSP, or system-level modeling.
