Contracts Manager – Traffic Management

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

CHM Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee traffic management operations and ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic management and excellent contract negotiation and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage traffic management contracts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Manage project resources, including workforce planning, equipment, and materials.
  • Grow and expand the current client base with the addition of new projects and new clients.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, acting as the key point of contact for any contract-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the traffic management industry.
  • Strong understanding of traffic management regulations and practices.
  • Excellent contract negotiation and management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
  • Professional qualifications in contract management, project management, or traffic management (e.g. CPCS, SMSTS).
  • Experience working with local authorities and large-scale infrastructure projects.
