Job Title: Cleaning Team Leader, Night Shift

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Team Leader to join our team on a night shift basis. As a Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of cleanliness across our property portfolio and monitoring, assessing and developing staff performance to support the Company's operation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake weekly stock checks to ensure that all necessary cleaning supplies are available.
  • Follow agreed cleaning policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the line manager in a timely manner.
  • Review and improve own team's work practices and environment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to work to meet the needs of the business.
  • Store and use chemicals in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with the recruitment of new team members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.

Requirements
  • Professional cleaning experience with a flexible approach to work.
  • Full understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Experience in the performance and development of staff, including objective setting.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Competent IT skills to manage cleaning schedules and reports.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently to achieve business objectives.

Working Hours
The night shift follows a 7on/7off pattern, with a working week running from Monday to Sunday. A typical night shift will require you to work Monday 18:00 – 03:30 and Tuesday to Sunday 18:00 – 03:00. This allows for a full week of 7 nights off. By joining our team, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment that values your skills and experience.
