Palo Alto Networks is a leader in cybersecurity, and we're looking for a talented External Communications Manager to join our team.
As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for managing and executing external communications programs that position the company as a cybersecurity leader across the EMEA & LATAM region.
You will collaborate with the global communications team, EMEA communications leads, and agency partners to help plan, develop, and localize communications campaigns and stories for the region.
These will include global thought-leadership initiatives, research projects, and product/service launches.
You will work closely with the media to develop local campaigns and angles that are creative and engaging to each market, while ensuring our message is consistent with our global vision, mission, and values.
We're looking for someone with a passion for cybersecurity, a talent for storytelling, and experience working with international teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing narratives and campaigns that help build the company's brand and reputation, raise awareness, and increase share of voice across the region.
- Working with communications leads and agency partners to drive coverage in business and trade media of Palo Alto Networks' thought-leadership initiatives, research, product launches, local customer/partner initiatives, and events.
- Supporting the development of messaging documents, Q&As, articles, executive briefing documents to support media and communications activities.
- Assisting with the development of compelling content for use across digital channels, including social media posts, video, and imagery.
- Acting as the day-to-day contact for a network of PR agencies.
- Creating op-eds, blog posts, and other content to support Palo Alto Networks priorities.
- Assisting with the training and development of a pool of EMEAL spokespeople, including senior executives.
- Supporting regional analyst outreach and opportunities.
The role will require periodic travel to other international locations.
