Production Operative

Worldwide Prestigious Security Company is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join their Leicester Electronics manufacturing base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and repair electronic monitoring products supplied by G4S Monitoring Technologies Ltd.
  • Operate a variety of powered tools, including pillar drills, ultrasonic welders, and electronic test equipment.
  • Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of electronic devices and modules.
  • Work in a standing position for long periods of time, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Perform low-level soldering and solder station tool maintenance.
  • Work as an individual or as part of a team, adhering to written works instructions.
  • Awareness of ESD procedures, with training provided.

Requirements:

  • Good time keeping and attendance.
  • Able to communicate well with colleagues.
  • Hard working and conscientious.
  • Must adopt safe working practices at all times.
  • PC literate.
  • CRB cleared.

Desirable:

  • Basic H&S training.
  • Awareness of needs for skills development and training.
  • Good understanding of 5s.
