The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage the month-end process, including payroll journaling, accruals, and prepayments, to ensure financial stability and compliance.
- Reconcile and manage deferred income and accrued income on grants and restricted projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Produce standard management accounts packs for multiple clients, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with budget-holders and stakeholders to improve financial controls, systems, and processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly organized and methodical individual with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively across multiple clients and stakeholders. As a studier or qualified accountant, you will have a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with a passion for learning and development.
