Financial Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at the PayPoint Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our transformation agenda and driving business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the effective and efficient monthly reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is provided to stakeholders.
- Cost Management: Proactively manage monthly cost review meetings and ad hoc projects with senior operational stakeholders, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing process improvements.
- Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts, supporting senior managers in making informed business decisions.
- Financial Controls: Ensure the implementation and maintenance of robust financial controls, identifying and mitigating risks to the business.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and other external partners.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the finance team, including the Management Accountant, to ensure the successful delivery of financial objectives.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in and lead ad hoc projects as required, supporting the finance and other departments in achieving business objectives.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Skills: Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, commercial acumen, and experience in presenting data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering financial results and improving business processes.
