About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, and ensuring that client objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
  • Act as the key day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including ensuring the production of detailed project plans.
  • Advising on the procurement of resources and leading the establishment of effective project governance, processes, and systems.
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
  • Manage the change control process and monitor and advise on project finances.
  • Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports.
  • Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Marketing and Business Development
  • Take responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients.
  • Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
  • Attend formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
  • Ensure that project case study, photograph, and project CV files are kept up to date.
  • Identify and act upon opportunities to improve project management products and services.
Internal Management Accountabilities
  • Staff management (where appropriate) – inputting into the formal management of an Assistant Project Manager or small project management team.
  • Knowledge management – ensuring that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
  • Financial management – ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilizing FMS to monitor a project's financial status.
  • Process improvement – identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Professionally qualified (MCIOB/APM or similar).
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
