Senior Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Officer at NHS Devon Integrated Care Board. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage informal concerns and formal complaints, providing guidance and support to patients, families, and advocates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal colleagues, local NHS providers, and system providers to resolve complaints and improve patient experience.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and agree on plans for resolution, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to the creation of a platform for learning from complaints, ensuring actions plans are put in place to improve patient care and services.
- Provide line management and development support to a small team, following HR policies and procedures.
- Be involved in Patient Experience projects, leading on plans, deadlines, and delivering successful outcomes.
- Maintain policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal training documents and materials, delivering small training sessions as required.
- Be a point of contact for internal and external colleagues on patient experience matters, attending internal and system meetings as necessary.
- Develop and maintain various patient experience reporting, ensuring accurate and timely data analysis and presentation.

Requirements- GCSE level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience in a specialist area.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, complaints management, or information analysis.
- Previous experience in complaints management and/or customer service.
- Working knowledge of complaint regulations within Health & Social Care.
- Advanced keyboard skills and use of a range of software.
