Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Theatre Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Royal Sussex County Hospital. As a Band 6 Theatre Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of anaesthetic care and patient safety.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and managerial support to the Team Leader.
- Lead by example, offering clinical leadership, guidance, and teaching to all relevant staff within your specialist area.
- Provide expert technical and clinical advice to colleagues within the peri-operative environment.
- Support and inform patients undergoing anaesthesia and surgery, ensuring their experience is as comfortable and safe as possible.
- Assist in the development of safe, high-quality specialist care, adhering to the Trust's Nursing and Midwifery guidelines.
