Our technology is built on a scalable cloud rendering solution based on Unreal Engine, which enables us to deliver high-quality renders to end users.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Unreal Engine developer to join our team in pushing the boundaries of Unreal Engine, using bleeding-edge features to deliver high-quality renders to end users. This role involves working in a variety of disciplines, including developing our scalable cloud rendering solution based on Unreal, creating internal tooling for both technical and creative users, building up automation / CI pipelines, and configuring cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of a cloud-based rendering solution
  • Optimize both real-time and offline rendering performance in-engine
  • Develop and maintain CI pipelines to automate the packaging of Unreal projects and assets
  • Work with creatives, gathering requirements and building internal tools to assist with the creation of assets through automation
  • Document developed tools and features
  • Create tests and maintain test coverage across our stack
  • Provide knowledge to less experienced Unreal users (both technical and non-technical) across the business on best practices, limitations, and more
  • Create and integrate plugins to the engine to enable users across the business

Requirements

  • Multiple years of experience with Unreal Engine (UE4 or UE5)
  • Engine tools and systems development experience
  • Experience modifying Unreal Engine source code
  • Strong C++ ability
  • Experience with both Git and Perforce version control
  • Knowledge of API design/consumption
  • Development on both Windows and Linux platforms
