Maintenance Engineer Job Description

Madisons Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
  • Identify and rectify faults on production machinery.
  • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Conduct regular inspections to prevent equipment failure.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical qualification (e.g. HNC/HND or equivalent).
  • Experience with PPMs and reactive maintenance.
  • Manufacturing experience (industrial, FMCG, food manufacturing, military, or power stations).
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including belts, bearings, chains, and gearboxes.
