We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to champion safety standards across our operations. This role will involve providing expert guidance, support, and advice to ensure a secure and compliant work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and verify compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure workplace.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs to employees on essential topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and safe work practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports on safety performance and present findings to management for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with management to develop and execute safety improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and contribute to the development of robust risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions for comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or in a similar role within a relevant industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct effective root cause analysis.
  • Excellent report writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear and concise interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
