Position Summary

We are excited to announce a vacancy within our Asset Management Product Tower for a Maximo Systems Specialist to assist over 300 Maximo EAM system users.

This role involves overseeing and managing the administration, configuration, and user support across multiple Maximo MAG Group environments. Additionally, it entails responsibility for Maximo system reporting, conducting data audits, and developing a suite of reports for users and stakeholders of Maximo.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure optimal performance of Maximo and conduct daily system checks as per established protocols. Implement minor configuration adjustments to the Maximo EAM / Maximo Application suite. Provide assistance to project teams during larger-scale system modifications. Collaborate with the data asset team to ensure efficient data loading processes. Develop and update Maximo system documentation, including standards, processes, and training materials. Manage daily system maintenance tasks such as data loads, corrections, and troubleshooting issues reported by users. Act as the primary lead for problem resolution. Analyze Maximo system issues, diagnose root causes, and lead efforts to resolve problems. Manage user account information for MAG Group, including access rights and licenses for Maximo and its modules. Drive analysis and enhancements of the MAG Maximo system to achieve peak performance. Generate data quality and audit reports in Maximo to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications for Success

Minimum of 5 years of experience with IBM Maximo products/solutions. At least 5 years of experience and knowledge of key Maximo functionalities, including Workorders, PMs, Job Plans, Locations, Assets, Meters, SRs, and Service Level Agreements. Proficiency in Maximo query and report writing (Excel VBA, BIRT, SQL, Business Intelligence, preferably Tableau). Ability to accurately estimate the time, effort, dependencies, and resources required for development tasks or changes. Quick learner with the capacity to understand complex applications and system technologies. Demonstrated experience in supporting Maximo production environments, addressing incidents, and conducting root cause analysis. Proven track record of supporting technical teams. Strong troubleshooting skills with an emphasis on problem analysis and solution development. Advanced understanding of general database dependencies. Familiarity with change and release management processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to perform well under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint). SharePoint development skills are a plus.
