We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Circle Health Group.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical expertise and input to the care of patients within our hospital. They will support the pharmacy department in delivering an excellent medicine management service to all customers, supervising the procurement, preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical input with respect to medicines to all patients.
- Ensure accurate and timely charging.
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate regulatory, professional, and best practice frameworks.
- Supervise junior staff members in the delivery of the medicine management service.
- Assume responsibility for specialist clinical services as needed.
- Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm, BSc, or BPharm).
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist.
- Postgraduate clinical diploma in clinical pharmacy (hospital) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years registration and 2 years within a hospital environment.
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
