About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic lessons to students with complex and severe learning needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and will be able to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the education of students with a wide range of abilities and will work closely with the school's therapy team to provide a holistic approach to education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students with complex learning needs
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Work closely with the therapy team to provide a comprehensive approach to education
  • Provide support and guidance to students with learning and cognition needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience of teaching students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for teaching and learning
