About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Teacher to join our innovative and exciting school, providing education for approximately 85 pupils with complex and severe learning needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic lessons, catering to the diverse needs of our pupils, including those with ASC, GDD, and Down's Syndrome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality education to students with complex needs, focusing on personalised curriculum and exceptional standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating various therapies and activities to promote learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the well-being and progress of all pupils.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse student population.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in special education.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching students with complex needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Passion for inclusive education and commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences for all students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to the school's mission and values.
