Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Internal Auditor to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and appraising the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures, and controls, as well as the timeliness of documentation generation.
  • Conducting risk assessments of all departments, identifying areas of key risk and developing audit scope and work programmes.
  • Performing audit procedures to verify that controls are operating effectively.
  • Preparing and presenting reports reflecting audit results and documenting process.
  • Monitoring the implementation of recommendations and management's response.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Group Internal Auditor with:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or similar is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of audit methodologies and principles.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with both financial and non-financial employees.
