Supervisor - Global Business Solutions
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with previous supervisory experience preferred. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of accountants ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Review and approve financial documents, including monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and financial reports, to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all deadlines are met for all financial services.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline workflows and improve efficiency within the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate other services performed on your client portfolio.
- Train team members on accounting principles, financial software systems, and company policies and procedures.
- Monitor client accounts and address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- University degree or AAT qualified. Part qualified/qualified ACCA preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software such as Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
