About the Role:

The National Specialist and Screening Directorate is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving forward specific programmes of work within agreed timeframes.

The Post:

The Programme Manager will have the ability to provide robust programme and change management within complex programme environments, experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders from different organisations together to achieve a common goal, and excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive forward specific programmes of work within agreed timeframes
  • Provide robust programme and change management within complex programme environments
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders from different organisations to achieve a common goal
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the National Specialist and Screening Directorate's strategic plans

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a programme management role
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, organisational skills
  • Ability to produce written work of the highest quality
  • Ability to work on own initiative, be proactive, manage and prioritise a busy work schedule
  • Attention to detail
