We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our clients' projects across the UK.

About the Role:

As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for leading the preparation, management, and submission of planning applications and appeals. You will provide expert planning advice to a diverse range of clients, including residential, commercial, and public sector projects.

You will engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and the public throughout the planning process. Additionally, you will mentor and support junior members of the team, helping to nurture talent and foster growth.

Contribute to the business development strategy, identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field, with eligibility for MRTPI or equivalent accreditation.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a planning role, with a solid understanding of UK planning policy and legislation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering high-quality planning solutions.
