Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opening for a Lead Community Nurse within our dedicated Community Nursing Team.
This role is perfect for a qualified nurse with diverse community experience who is eager to enhance their leadership and management capabilities in a nurturing environment.
We have multiple positions available with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess community nursing experience, a solid understanding of caseload management, and a high level of clinical expertise. Leadership experience is preferred.
You will receive personalized support to promote high-quality care and teamwork, including a comprehensive induction program, regular one-on-one meetings, and peer supervision.
Your role will involve delivering effective, evidence-based care to a designated population/Primary Care Network. This will be accomplished through efficient delegation, caseload management, monitoring care standards, and providing leadership and performance management for team members.
You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care, utilizing your professional judgment at all times.
Additionally, you will provide clinical leadership and line management to junior nurses and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
The teams operate from various health centers and are committed to supporting patient care across the community.
You will also contribute to the ongoing enhancement of community nursing services, aligning with national healthcare objectives.

Qualifications and Training
Essential Requirements
- Registered nurse with current NMC registration
- Relevant nursing degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in student mentorship
- Willingness to undertake a leadership development program
Experience and Knowledge
Essential Requirements
- Experience in caseload management
- Background in community nursing
- Proven clinical expertise in wound care, end-of-life care, and catheter management
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in a formal or informal leadership role
