About the Role

VMA Group is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive PR, social media, and thought leadership strategy across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead PR and Social Media Initiatives: Develop and execute PR, social media, and thought leadership initiatives to strengthen the brand and market position.
  • Support Executive Communications: Assist the Executive Board with executive communications, including media interviews, speech writing, and social media management.
  • Enhance Digital Presence: Collaborate with digital and demand teams to enhance the digital presence through SEO-optimized content.
  • Manage Brand Communications: Manage the distribution of brand communications across the EMEA region and coordinate monthly briefings with senior colleagues.
  • Oversee Press Office: Oversee the press office, ensuring timely and effective responses to media inquiries.
  • Measure Communication Impact: Measure and report on the effectiveness of external communications, integrating insights into marketing reports.
  • Collaborate with External Agencies: Work closely with external PR agencies to achieve objectives and support crisis communications when necessary.
  • Align with Marketing Functions: Collaborate with various marketing functions to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
Requirements
  • Degree in Communications: Degree in communications or a related field, with extensive experience in corporate communications or public relations.
  • Strong Written Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce targeted content such as speeches, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Ability to Connect Market Trends: Ability to connect market trends to business needs and craft compelling narratives.
  • Experience in Executive Communications: Experience in executive communications, including writing for senior management in a suitable tone of voice.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Digital Platforms: Familiarity with digital platforms and experience creating impactful campaigns for diverse audiences.
  • Proven Ability to Measure Communication Impact: Proven ability to set up and utilize metrics to measure communication impact.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365: Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and PowerPoint is a plus.
