Group Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Group Manager to lead our Regional Commissioning Team in a key role that will shape the future of health in Aotearoa. As a Senior Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the team operates as a high-performing business unit, coordinating functions across the business unit, including business planning, reporting, risk management, ministerial servicing, and emergency planning.

You will be working towards a system that better meets the complex demands of a growing population, addresses persistent inequalities experienced by Māori, and ensures greater access, experience, and outcomes for those traditionally not well served by the system – Māori, Pacific, and Disabled People.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Regional Commissioning Team to ensure high performance and coordination across the business unit
- Develop and implement business strategies and initiatives across the organization
- Develop robust systems, processes, and policies to enable smooth running of processes across the teams
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships across sectors and organizations
- Think conceptually and anticipate the impact of decisions on long-term outcomes, including financial outcomes
- 10+ years of experience in managing critical systems and processes to support senior executives in planning and leading highly skilled, high-performing teams
- Natural talent for providing strategic direction and guiding and supporting the wellbeing and development needs of your team
- Strong drive to deliver and passion for making a difference in the healthcare industry
- Relevant tertiary or professional qualification
